My name is Dionna Buford-Latimer, or affectionately know as Dee-Dee. I am a St. Louis, MO based advocate for sexual abuse survivors. I am also the founder and Executive Director of Moving4ward Ministries. Moving4ward is a support ministry for adult survivors of sexual abuse ages 18 and older. I am the proud mother of three beautiful children. My purpose and calling is to bring awareness to the issue of sexual abuse, especially in under-served communities, and to be that hope for other survivors to let them know their voices have a right to be heard, and healing is possible. I am an overcomer of sexual abuse. God is my hope, my rock, and the only way that healing has been a reality in my life. When He arrested my attention to speak out about my past, I didn't understand, but through my journey His love, patience, kindness, and sternness has been everything I need to move forward, and He has revealed to me that there are others that need my story. My message to you is that there is hope in healing. It is possible! Love you all!
